Lancaster Lodge
Lancaster Lodge is a sumptuous two bedroom lodge on Dakota Park at Coningsby, Lincolnshire.
There is a stunning bright and sunny lounge that as 2 two seater sofa’s with soft fluffy cushions, throws and fantastic views across an open countryside vista.
Enjoy a ringside seat from all three windows of the planes from RAF Coningsby, a very active fighter base.
If that was not enough there is also a smart tv with freeview plus Netflix and Amazon Films, an Xbox with various games, DVD’s and lots of books to read while enjoying the warmth of the contemporary fire.
The kitchen has modern units with an electric ceramic four ring hob, two ovens and grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, integrated fridge, a separate under counter freezer and a table and chairs– perfect for dinning in.
The twin bedroom is complete a with tv/DVD player. Lovely thick quilts, soft pillows and over bed storage. A side table for your bedtime glass of water is also provided.
The double bedroom with tv/DVD player, wardrobe, dressing table and a chest of drawers is everything you need as a home away from home.
Luxuriate on the provided memory foam mattress and enjoy the comfy pillows – it is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday lie in.
Complete with En-suite shower, toilet and sink with lots of storage cupboards.
Soft fluffy towels too, of course.
There is a second, separate toilet and wash hand basin.
Outside there is a massive decking area with table, chairs and parasol for dining, a comfy rattan sofa, two chairs and a coffee table and also two sun loungers where you can while away the hours in the sun whilst watching the planes or eating with family or friends.
There is your own parking space right next to the lodge.
Lancaster Lodge has full central heating with double radiators in each room and is fully insulated unlike a normal static so it will always be cosy and snug - all year round.
In 2023 it was totally refurbished with thick soft carpets and fully re-decorated to a high standard.
Locally there are so many pubs and restaurants to choose from. Golf, fishing, cycling, riverside walks, shopping in Boston, Sleaford, Lincoln, Woodhall Spa and Horncastle. Only 40 mins from Skegness beach. There is five aviation museums locally just to name a few.
The jets and the Battle of Britain planes fly over Lancaster lodge regularly so it can get quite noisy at times so if you are after a peace and quiet holiday then this is not the place to come but it is very exciting and interesting to watch the planes.
We do not take dogs in Lancaster lodge and children under 12 yrs.
There is a minimum of a three night stay.
